For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Counseling employees on perceived discrimination in job related matters; (2) Using techniques as mediation and negotiating to facilitate resolution and conducting fact finding into allegations of discrimination; (3) Identifying barriers to equal opportunity and developing a portion of the activity’s affirmation employment plan; and (4) Identifying systemic related problems and analyzing the work force of competencies to identify particular occupations and lines of progression in which members are underrepresented. NOTE: This experience must be demonstrated in your resume. For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice and guidance on the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints process; 2) Performing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) counseling; 3) Employing alternate dispute resolution techniques; 4) Conducting briefings, orientation, and training on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program Requirements.
