You may qualify at the NH-03 if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Must meet 3 of the 5 statements in order to be qualified. Applying logistics processes, procedures, and practices necessary to develop and assess technical and economic feasibility, including cost, schedule and performance. Researching, planning, coordinating and briefing logistics actions in support of leadership’s goals and vision. Working with and across executive staffs, joint staffs, commands, agencies and the services. Identifying and applying the concepts, policies, and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and legacy systems during the sustainment phase of the life cycle. Developing and implementing training plans and activities for military weapon systems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
