MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma plus eight (8) years of administrative or clerical experience in general office, public service setting, or court environment, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Graduation from the Courts’ Management Training Program may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience (You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application). A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, social science field, public administration, or related field; and four (4) years demonstrated experience working in a public service, legal, or court environment, which will include at least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
This position is located in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals’ Public Office Operations Division of the Clerk’s Office. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Division’s administrative procedures and daily functions, including oversight of daily docketing, transmission of records and transcript management; and monitoring of responses to the public in the e-File queue, efile Help, and Records email folders.
