EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Work in a technical group dealing with manufacture, utilization, repair, or operation of equipment; 2) Review and apply technical specifications and requirements; 3) Analyze equipment and forecasting spare parts requirements; 4) Read and interpret engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders; 5) Analyze contract specifications and examining pertinent equipment to determine if specifications are met; 6) Analyze or supervise maintenance, repair, or production operations to determine methods of improvement.
