Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that demonstrates the ability to perform minor plumbing, painting, electrical and carpentry duties. Experience could have been gained in any type position of “handyman” with duties in the area required. must have a knowledge of proper tools used in the different areas of the maintenance section. Experience must have demonstrated ability to work independently, with little need for direct supervision.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Maintenance Department at University Inn Lodging on Maxwell/Gunter AFB, Alabama. This position is a Regular Part-Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 35 hours per week.
