Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Provide support for the review, monitoring, and reporting of manpower and budget requirements. 2) Military personnel actions to include military evaluation reports and military awards and decorations. 3) Review position descriptions. 4) Assist leadership in administering various personnel related programs such as incentive awards, support forms and evaluations, payroll issues, and leave transfer program and 5) Manage the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Customer Service Leadership Managing Human Resources Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Position may be filled as a TEMPORARY Promotion NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. TEMPORARY Promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a TEMPORARY Appointment NTE 1 year if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. TEMPORARY Appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.
About the Position: Position serves as the Chief, Personnel Support performing a variety of management and administrative functions for military and civilian personnel assigned to the Directorate, at the Army Human Resources Command, Enlisted Personnel Management Directorate, at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
