In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical supervision and coordination of all activities integral to nuclear facilities and nuclear engineering. Experience applying advanced theories, concepts, principles and practices of nuclear engineering associated with diverse aspects of nuclear propulsion plants. Experience reviewing work submitted by subordinates for accuracy and completion. Experience analyzing reactor servicing needs to determine necessary changes for nuclear facilities or operational procedures. Experience planning work sequences, daily schedules, or tests to execute assigned duties. Experience demonstrating knowledge of emergency preparedness and participation in emergency response for exercises or actual events. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in Code 2370.10 in the Nuclear Refueling Engineering Division (2370) Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
