You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Experience executing security and/or vulnerability assessments Experience defending complex concepts and procedures, to senior officials via both oral and written briefings Experience assessing Program Management Action Plans Experience identifying and mitigating risk through activities, methods, or use of technologies that require additional authorizations You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Experience providing oversight to and execution of security and/or vulnerability assessments Experience providing expert high-level technical advice, and relaying and defending complex concepts and procedures, to senior officials via both oral and written briefings Experience developing and assessing Program Management Action Plans to include acquisition requirements and staffing plans Extensive experience identifying and mitigating risk through activities, methods, or use of technologies that require additional authorizations Experience providing feedback on the evaluation of work performance of military, government, and contract personnel Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
