Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes understanding theories and principles of Medical Logistics Management and of readiness and mobilization and of the laws, regulations, policies affecting readiness and mobilization; address major issues, program goals, work operations and managerial channels of organizations involved in medical readiness and mobilization programs; manage, plan and execute acquisition and administrative actions to meet established deadlines and be responsive to the needs of those supported at the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Performance Measurement Product Support and Sustainment Supply Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
About the Position: Serves as Chief, Supply Chain Management Division, responsible for acquisition of supplies for the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) and as Accountable Officer for Class VIII warehouse located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
