Custodial Worker Leader (Lead Housekeeper)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to lead 3 or more custodial workers to accomplish housekeeping assignments. Must have functional experience and demonstrated knowledge of facility/equipment in housekeeping and the ability to build teams and work with others. Must have experience in the proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Must be able to clean and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Must be able to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Must be able to plan, coordinate, and time sequence steps needed to meet time constraints of work assignments. Experience and knowledge must have been gained either in a military lodging program or commercial hotel/motel. Must be able to follow oral or written instructions and speak English. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and carry objects weighing over 50 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) / Tier I investigation. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
