You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: – Supervising staff or providing oversight of the analyses and application of fair housing laws and equal opportunity regulations such as the Fair Housing Act, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act or other civil rights laws and regulations; AND- Addressing a wide variety of employee, stakeholder, and client issues to collect and present factual information to aid in resolution of complaints and/or compliance reviews and drafting determinations and Letters of Findings; AND- Identifying and recommending solutions for particularly extensive equal opportunity problems as well as the enforcement of the applicable civil rights statutes. Specialized Experience for this position includes: – Performing analyses and applying fair housing laws and equal opportunity regulations such as the Fair Housing Act (also known as Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act or other civil rights laws and regulations; AND- Addressing a wide variety of employee, stakeholder, and client issues to collect and present factual information to aid in resolution of individual complaints and/or compliance reviews and drafting determinations and Letters of Findings; AND- Identifying and recommending solutions for equal opportunity problems. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
