CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting conferences, negotiation sessions, and presenting training material. Experience awarding firm fixed price and cost type contracts. Experience implementing knowledge of contract administration and termination techniques to amend, negotiate, and administer changes needed to contract completion. Experience implementing knowledge of the FAR, Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations (DFARS), Navy Marine Corp Acquisition Regulations (NMCARs), NAVSEA Contracting Handbook, The Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), and contract law and legal precedents. Experience coordinating a contracting team in an industrial environment. Experience preparing contracting officer final decisions, business clearances, letters of concern to contractors, and effective contracts and modifications. You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Small Boats/LCAC (Code 415), Sustainment Cradle/Grave Non CNO Division (Code 426), Contracts Department (Code 400) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
