In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement – this information must be clearly supported in the resume. GS-07: Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 level in federal service demonstrating experience performing and/or assisting in at least three (2) of the following: Experience in realty related tasks and realty program management; Review and issuance of easements; issuance of leases, permits, and licenses; interpret legal land description; trespass resolution; preparation of sales contracts; and/or issuance of sales notices for excess land. OR Education: Completion of one full year of graduate education in a related field. OR Superior Academic Achievement (SAA): Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a field of study directly related to the duties of this position. (Superior Academic Achievement is defined as meeting one of the following: In the upper one-third of my graduating class; OR a GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0, as recorded on official transcript, or based on courses completed during final 2 years of curriculum: OR a GPA of 3.5 or higher out of 4.0, based on average of required courses completed in major or required courses in major completed during the final 2 years of curriculum.) OR Combination of specialized experience and graduate education as defined above. GS-09: Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-07 level in federal service demonstrating experience performing and/or assisting in at least three (3) of the following: Experience in realty related tasks and realty program management; Review and issuance of easements; issuance of leases, permits, and licenses; interpret legal land description; trespass resolution; preparation of sales contracts; and/or issuance of sales notices for excess land. OR Education: A masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate degree leading to such a degree, LL.B., or J.D., in a field of study related to the position. OR Combination of graduate education and specialized experience as described above. GS-11: Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-09 level in federal service demonstrating experience performing all the following: Professional experience in realty related tasks and realty program management; Review and issuance of easements; issuance of leases, permits, and licenses; interpret legal land description; trespass resolution; preparation of sales contracts; and/or issuance of sales notices for excess. OR Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., in a field of study related to the position. OR Combination of graduate education and specialized experience as described above. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including any selective placement factors if applicable, by 10/24/2024.
