Knowledge of social services delivery systems delivery systems and concepts, principles, and theories relating to one or more of the social or behavioral science fields to assess needs and concerns of clients Skilled in conducting interviews to establish the nature and extent of concerns or issues Must be skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships using tact, diplomacy in interacting with Commands, individuals, families, military, and community agencies, and FFSP staff Experienced in use of various computer software database, spreadsheet, word processing, and network programs Understanding of military service and culture preferred Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement, administer, and counsel on the Fleet and Family Readiness Support Division Programs (FFSP) concerning work and family life issues including information and referral (I&R), and assist Navy leadership, military personnel and their families in managing the competing demands of the military mission and family.
