BASE OPERATIONS MANAGER (TITLE 32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade – Officer: CPT(O-3) Warrant Officer: CW3 (W-3) Minimum Military Grade – Officer: 2LT (O-1) Warrant Officer: WO1 (W-1) Officer – Branch 01A Warrant Officer – Branch 12, 13, 91 or 92 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education, and/or training which provided you with a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration; and experience using computer and automation systems. GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 36 months of experience, education or training that provided the ability to develop and recommend policy; organize and carry out programs; evaluate and recommend changes in methods of operation; and prepare written communications and oral presentations. This specialized experience must also include the ability to manage a variety of funds and ensure funds are expended appropriately. SPECIALIZED SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience managing the function of the work to be performed that includes the ability to lead, direct and assign work of personnel.
This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This National Guard position is a Permanent GS-0301-11 BASE OPERATIONS MANAGER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2976000 in and is part of the MO Fort Leonard Wood Training Site. This is a non-bargaining unit position.
