This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0801 series. Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You MUST provide a copy of your current license/registration with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05 to GS-11) or pay band (ND-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. . Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing a wide range of concepts, principles and practices of science and/ or engineering; 2) Coordinating engineering projects, including development, execution and reporting; and 3) Identifying and proposing solutions to technical engineering problems. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEER (WORK CENTER) in the EXPEDITIONARY PROGRMES OFFICE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13, Step-10 level.
