Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have knowledge of custom picture framing and be capable of instructing custom framing in a classroom setting. Must have the ability to use framing equipment and tools, to include matte cutter, corner chopper, glass cutter and corner joiner. Must be able to exhibit a knowledge of composition, design and colors. Applicant must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs, and practical knowledge of recreational activities and equipment used in arts and crafts skills development.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts & Craft facility of the 6th Force Support Squadron Community Services Flight.
