Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in art, graphics and/or layout required. Experience in Corel Studio and Microsoft Office skills are preferred. Must use English and metric measurements. Must be able to read, write and speak English and do basic arithmetic. Must possess written communication skills and the ability to perform basic math computations to process paperwork and perform physical inventories. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. A clear speaking voice is required. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Must be able to work under short deadlines and shifting priorities while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude when helping customers. Subject to cuts, burns, bruises, loud noises, dust particles, chemicals and adhesives. Subject to uncommon work schedule.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center on Keesler AFB, MS. This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a regular part time employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave, and sign up for benefits, to include health/life insurance, 401k, and NAF retirement.
