Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must submit written statements (narrative format) of accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications. You must address each technical qualification separately. You are required to respond to all of the technical qualifications. If you fail to do so, you will be rated as ineligible. Please limit your written statements to no more than two pages per technical qualification and must include your name. 1. Demonstrated experience in applying auditing principles, concepts, techniques, and standards promulgated by the GAO, AICPA, and other professional organizations in the development and execution of OIG’s strategic goals and objectives. 2. Demonstrated experience leading and directing initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of complex organizations, including planning, managing, and implementing complex projects; defining projects’ scope, resources, goals, and deliverables. Experience working across internal and external organizational entities to ensure project execution. Time in grade is not required for Senior Level (SL) position. This position is located in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Office of Audits (OA) and reports directly to the Deputy Inspector General for Audits (DIGA). Based on proven experience with advising the highest levels of an organization, the Senior Advisor serves as an advisor to the DIGA and Assistant Inspector Generals for Audits (AIGA) on addressing highly complex and sensitive matters relating to the operations of the Office of Audits.
