PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (NUCLEAR)

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships with foreign partners and U.S. interagency counterparts; Demonstrated experience managing, planning, and executing multiple projects; Experience preparing project plans, acquisition project baselines, acquisition strategies, implementation plans, and funding plans, and; Demonstrated experience with nuclear physical security requirements You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Experience preparing, evaluating, and coordinating multi-disciplined physical security plans; Experience assessing and evaluating physical security programs and adapting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes; Experience leading multi-disciplined teams of contractors, civilians and military to ensure success; Demonstrated experience communicating program requirements to senior level civilian and military personnel via written and oral briefings, and; Demonstrated expertise in U.S nuclear policy, doctrine, and standards. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
