Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as: planning, development, and execution of the policies, plans, missions, and goals of the agency’s mission; making recommendations to senior management regarding changes to program direction, staffing, and allocation of funds to improve the quality of service through statistical and data analytics findings; and managing and coordinating the formulation and issuance of policies, procedures, standard of operations. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is in the Office of Management, Operations Support Division. Incumbent supports the division director in leadership and coordination of operations across OSD and assists OM in meeting pertinent elements of OIGs strategic plan. Incumbent directs Nationwide space/lease management, occupational safety and health, physical security, fleet management, records management, personal property, emergency management and continuity of operations programs, and other tasks as directed.
