Experience: To receive credit, you must indicate the month and year as well as the average hours worked per week for each employer. GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Directs and evaluates business functions, resource allocation, and administrative operations, to include 4 or more of the following areas: budget, facilities, travel, payroll, procurement and logistics support; Develops innovative recommendations to senior management on ways to maximize and improve utilization of funds that directly impact strategic program objectives or missions; Plans, organizes, and carries out annual and multi-year budgeting requirements in support of a major program office within a multi-divisional organization; Recommends solutions for process or program improvements; AND Supervises multidisciplinary teams and/or workgroups in accomplishing program goals. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME-IN-GRADE: If you are a current career or career-conditional federal employee applying for promotion under Merit Promotion you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks in positions at the next level lower than the position being filled. All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on 10/28/2024.
You will serve as an Administrative Officer for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Capital Access (OCA), Disaster Administrative Services Division (DASD). The Center coordinates national administrative support activities and is responsible for managing the following support services: mail and supply control activities, accountable property, procurement, travel, payroll and other fiscal activities, records, and facilities management of office, warehouse and storage facilities.
