In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. 1. You must meet the minimum basic educational and/or work experience requirements for professional accounting positions in the federal government (see education); and 2. You must have specialized experience for this position, which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing accounting, auditing, financial or compliance work by planning, conducting audit assignments and reporting results. 3. *Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience* Highly Desired Skills Experience conducting or overseeing financial statement, information technology, or performance audits. Possess a relevant professional certification to include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
