ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (OPERATIONS RESEARCH)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree in operations research, applied mathematics, mathematics, statistics, data science, engineering, or closely related field. Demonstrated expertise in operations research is required for applicants whose doctoral degree is in another field. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Every faculty member must have the personal attributes of integrity, cooperation, and initiative. ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES: Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or closely related field. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A strong preference will be given to applicants whose education and experiences indicate the ability to engage in our operations research program, with the potential to assume a leadership role in the development and management of the program. Applicants should have experience or have demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring underrepresented students. In addition, a strong record or potential for research involving undergraduates is highly valued.
