You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, military, or private sector: Organizing a significant amount of information from numerous stakeholders to facilitate study results. Analyzing and preparing information for senior leadership approval. Performing analysis of existing information to formulate opinions or findings to develop potential courses of action for decision makers. Persuading or negotiating with decision-making officials to follow a recommended course of action. Developing plans to implement changes across a command or organization. Presenting information to diverse audience members, from peers to most senior level personnel. Providing written correspondence and staff summary packages. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent serves as a senior financial management analyst and project lead responsible for providing assistance and guidance concerning quality control activities.
