MILITARY GRADES: E1 THROUGH E8 & WO1 THROUGH CW4 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 25, 255 The policy to have a compatible MOS/AFSC has been suspended. When reinstated, you will have one year to meet the qualifications of this position or meet the requirements in the guidance set by NGB. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates a basic knowledge of telephone equipment. Must have a knowledge of the principles of electricity and electronics, and be able to use test equipment, wiring diagrams, schematics and other specifications. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience running wire, installing molding, insulators, connectors and terminal boxes, and other protective and support items. Experience in the use of complex test equipment such as hand test sets, volt-ohmmeters, tone testers, etc. Experience in reading and understanding layout sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, building plans, etc. Specialized Experience Requirements for NGB Federal Wage System Positions for claiming civilian job experience: Creditable experience must have been performed at least 30 consecutive days and be properly documented. Experience in the same line of work can only be credited on the basis of a regular 40-hour workweek. Hours per week MUST be documented on resume to receive any credit.
