GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating material from other agencies which have different specialized supply programs. Experience evaluating variables such as availability of materials, relationships with other programs, and cost/benefit considerations. Experience analyzing and resolving issues and problems involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management, or day-to-day operational procedures. Experience tracking the flow of materials from original and subsequent acquisition through shipment and storage, to final distribution and shipment to customers. Experience conducting inventory and catalog searches and assisting customers by recommending alternate items. You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the PROJECT MATERIAL MANAGER BRANCH (CODE 522), SUPPLY MATERIAL SUPPORT DIVISION, SUPPLY DEPARTMENT, of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
