Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operator) without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operator) tasks including loading, unloading, carrying equipment or material. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision Screen Out Ability To Inspect Ability To Provide Production Support Services Instruct PHYSICAL EFFORT: The incumbent exerts moderately heavy physical effort in doing such tasks as occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds). They frequently lift and carry moderately heavy objects weighing up to 18 kilograms (40 pounds); and frequently push heavy furniture on dollies, loaded carts, etc. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work inside and also outside and is occasionally exposed to bad weather while loading and unloading vehicles. Continuous standing, walking, stooping, or lifting is required. May be subject to cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving or when loading and unloading vehicles. Is exposed to the possibility of serious accidents while driving in traffic and inclement weather.
