In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of the Department of State (Embassy), Naval Component Commander, and Fleet regulations, and standard operating procedures in relation to Naval Oceanography. Experience applying knowledge of the Naval Oceanography organization structure, policies, and missions and of how Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) parameters affect tactical naval problems. Experience applying knowledge of Naval Oceanography capabilities, products and services; and familiarity with Joint and Naval Combatant Commander Command structure to include Joint Task Force and Fleet operations.
