The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC’s mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position will serve as a Supply Technician using a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies to perform program reviews, status reports, and customer needs located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC. Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-06 Level Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include Apply supply regulations, policies, and procedures; Receive, store, issue, and shipping supplies; Utilize data entry procedures; and Retrieve information in automated systems for reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. GS-7 Level Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include Interpret and apply supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions; Research files or databases to identify problem areas to correct inventory issues; Reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and Compile supply data information to provide material pricing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement GS-06: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-05 (or equivalent). Time in Grade Requirement GS-07: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-06 (or equivalent).
