A minimum of one year full-time work experience in cash handling, cash control, banking, or accounting is required; OR two years above the high school level may substitute for required experience. Experience in the Navy and/or Air Force accounting system is preferred. Knowledge of office and cash handling procedures. Skill in the use of personal computer and various software programs such as Word, Excel, etc. Ability to operate calculator and type by touch. Ability to perform mathematical functions. Ability to drive a motor vehicle in order to make collections and deposits. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing. The work is generally sedentary. There may be some walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items requiring only moderate physical ability and stress. May be required to travel to other facilities. May work an uncommon tour of duty and/or on weekends. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Subject to satisfactory completion of background investigation.
