To qualify for Pay Band 4B applicants must meet one of the following: A. A. 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major in the any field; OR B. At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. AND In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must have had one year of specialized experience comparable to the Pay Band 4c or GS-11 or an equivalent level conducting a variety of pre-award and post award functions associated with the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services. NOTE: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit may be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. To receive credit you must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours worked per week.A new hire’s direct and overall experience are critical factors in determining a salary offer. Salary may be set from the minimum to the midpoint of the salary range of the pay band. In some instances, based on a selectee’s extensive experience directly related to the position, salary may be set at or above the mid-point up to the maximum salary for that pay band. This position is located in the Contracts and Grants Management Division (CGM) within the Department of Administration and Finance (A&F), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-12, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4B which is generally equal to GS-12. This position will be filled under Direct-Hire Authority (DHA).
