Space Management Specialist

In order to qualify for the GG-13 position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: 1. Deep knowledge of the techniques of space and office planning and applications and the ability to plan, schedule and accomplish moderate to large-size projects within policy and administrative constraints. 2. Skill in planning, organizing, coordinating, and establishing control points for space management involving frequently changing requirements. 3. Uses computer software to maintain and update assignment plans as changing needs, space modifications, and relocations dictate. 4. Demonstrated ability to administer complex projects, reconcile divergent points of view regarding space assignments, and to use tact and judgment to negotiate space and workstation changes, to resolve conflicts over space and services, and to maintain a cooperative and productive relationship with a wide variety of NRC, GSA, CFM, owners, subcontractors and service representatives.
