To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Formulating objectives and recommendations governing human resources functions to effectively meet current and long-range human resources management goals for the organization Providing authoritative advisory services on human resources operations and programs to design and implement best practices to align with human resources policies and procedures to support the organization’s mission Utilizing expertise in HR management principles, concepts and practices, as well as consultative skills, to evaluate HR programs and resolve complex problems Leading or managing an HR team, function or project while fostering engagement, teamwork, inclusion, and innovation Your resume must include a clear and detailed narrative description, in your own words, of how you meet the required specialized experience.
