ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NAVAL ARCHITECTURE)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: – Experience applying working knowledge of naval architecture technician principles, methods, and techniques to perform design work and plan conventional and state of the art work. – Experience applying knowledge of engineering aspects unique to nuclear powered aircraft carriers. – Extensive experience providing technical naval architecture engineering support. – Experience providing engineering design services. – Experience evaluating project concerns and applying the latest development and techniques to solve problems not readily treatable by traditional or accepted methods.
