Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using various training methods to devise an employee development and training program. Experience implementing and teaching the knowledge of the nuclear subject matter to provide practical application of the trade integrated with safety, radiological, and other requirements. Experience working with welding trade processes, practices, materials, equipment, and techniques. Experience instructing others in nuclear subjects. Experience implementing knowledge and skill of the welding trade that was obtained through a 4 year apprenticeship or comparable on the job training. Experience speaking in front of large groups. You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the Welding Shop (Code 926), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
