MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-11 Grade Level Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: consulting with service line supervisors and staff in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting operating systems and related application software and training individuals in the daily operation of these systems. OR Completion of three (3) years of graduate education leading to a Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. OR Completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management. This position is located at Desert Visions Youth Wellness Center and serves as an Information Technology Specialist, technical expert responsible for supporting supporting end-users in determining their computer system needs including installation, operation, implementation, training, and maintaining the computer systems on the local area network at the Phoenix and Tucson Area Youth Regional Treatment Centers (YRTCs). This position reports to the Medical Director.
