GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements (see Education section) for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience performing engineering analysis applying standard engineering principles. *Experience assisting with life cycle management issues pertaining to ship design, operation, maintenance and repair. *Experience assisting with consulting and reviewing services for the command regarding status of material readiness and condition, budgets, and maintenance and repair issues for assigned ship. GS-5: Applicants who meet the basic requirements (see Education section) listed are fully qualified for the specified entry level Engineering positions at the GS-05.
