You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-13 is one year of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: – Participating in assessments, inspections, and audits of facilities and operations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations in a manufacturing or industrial setting; AND – Preparation of regulatory required reporting, regulatory required plans, permit applications and technical reports in a manufacturing or industrial setting; AND -Participating in the planning and execution of engineering projects to improve environmental performance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Office of Environment, Health and Safety. As a General Engineer, you will be responsible for activities that ensure Western Currency Facility (WCF) is in compliance with all Federal, State of Texas, and local applicable environmental regulations and environmental permits.
