The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/04/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/04/2024. GS-13: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), you qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations Managing special projects by planning and preparing analysis with the use of charts, diagrams, slides and other visual material for use in the communication of information. Collecting relevant information from varied sources to devise new techniques to evaluate findings and make authoritative recommendations. This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, District 22, Montgomery AL Field Office. As a Special Assistant, you will be responsible for understanding the primary roles and responsibilities of the Field Office Director. You will also provide support and program management duties for a broad range of administrative and operational functions.
