Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $99,200.00) if you possess one f ull year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties: Utilizing the policies, procedures, and regulations of an organization to process payments or request allotments; Working with financial systems to monitor and review obligations and other financial transactions; Auditing financial reports to resolve discrepancies and/or maintain data integrity; and Communicating trends within reports and other financial data to upper management and other stakeholders. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet “time-in-grade” requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
