Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Utilizing environmental protection practices and skills, reviewing candidate technologies or applications for demonstration applicability and transfer. Participating in the maintenance of a repository that identifies and describes restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, and conservation technologies as developed by Federal laboratories and private companies. Serving as a Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) for studies, surveys, demonstration projects and technology transfer projects. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Environmental Engineering Environmental Project and Program Management Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
About the Position: Serves as a project officer/team member with responsibility for carrying out planning, advising,reviewing and program management duties associated with the execution of environmental cleanupfor restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, or conservation at Army facilities.
