For the GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical engineering documents to resolve technical deficiencies with equipment or testing, and develop improved procedures in support of ship or submarine repairs. Examples of qualifying experience include but not limited to: Reviewing Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and Technical Work Documents (TWDs). Conducting third party review of posted tags for Intermediate level maintenance. Coordinating all shop inspections and work in tanks and confined spaces and interacting with management and trades responsible for execution of productions tasks in tanks or confined spaces. Researching and recommending approaches to resolve technical deficiencies in support of submarine or ship repairs. For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting technical engineering documents, to resolve technical deficiencies with equipment or testing, and recommend improved procedures, to support ship or submarine repair. Examples of qualifying experience include but not limited to: Preparing Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and Technical Work Documents (TWDs). Reviewing and approving proposed Ship’s Force tag-outs. Performing opening inspection of tanks and confined spaces. Coordinating all shop inspections of tanks and confined spaces. Recommending improved procedures in support of submarine or ship repairs.
