GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes: awarding and managing grants awarded to public, private, or governmental entities, non-profits and universities AND; applying grant management principles for the purpose of analyzing and evaluating grant programs to ensure and maintain compliance AND; providing management advice and explaining problems related to grant management activities and processes. These qualifications must be clearly demonstrated in your resume. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Entrepreneurial Development. The location is negotiable and will be determined upon the selection of the candidate. This position advises, assists, oversees, and monitors several grants and cooperative agreements. This involves interpreting policy, reviewing budgets, technical proposals, and grant project activities for effectiveness, compliance, and legality.
