If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service strategically and tactically planning utility plant operations, overseeing utility complexes through the administration of programs, projects and initiatives related to mechanical, chemical, electrical/electronics, environmental and plant operation; and the performance of business functions related to budgeting, revenue collection, customer relations, industry collaboration and public affairs.
As a Heating Operation and Transmission Officer, you will administer strategic and tactical direction overseeing the programs, projects, and initiatives of the Heating Operation and Transmission District (HOTD), a large utility complex. Location of position: Office of Facilities Management, HOTD, National Capital Region, Public Buildings Service, General Services Administration We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
