Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience understanding physics, naval nuclear propulsion systems and proven managerial ability comparable to the scope, magnitude, complexity, and significance of a Shipyard Control Program. Experience identifying radiological control regulations, standards, concepts, and techniques applied to nuclear plant overhaul and refueling. Experience understanding operation and design principles of nuclear reactor systems, Radiation Detection, Indication, and Computation (RADIAC) equipment and radiation shielding to be able to evaluate complex data in accordance to the Radiological Monitoring Program in accordance with NAVSEA, Shipyard, and federal regulatory agency requirements that control and evaluate personnel exposure to ionizing radiation, control of radioactive materials, specifying, implementing, and enforcing applicable radiological controls by conducting surveillance of all work involving radioactive materials and controls in association with Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plants. Experience providing administrative/ managerial ability to manage the division. Experience adapting to crises and prioritize constant changing work. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the Radiological Monitoring Division (C105.3) in the Manager Radiological Controls NNSY Waterfront (C105.1W) of the Radiological Control Office (C105), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
