This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: (1) Installing, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, a variety of systems components such as compressors, which include gear, reciprocating, centrifugal, or rotary pump and a variety of refrigerant controls such as those with low and high pressure side floats, automatic thermostatic expansion valves, capillary or choke types, and those base on volume or quantity changes; 2) Examining, diagnosing malfunctions and making repairs to systems that include analog and direct digital control (DDC) systems used in complex heating ventilation; air conditioning, and refrigeration systems; and 3) Following all guidelines and procedures pertaining to the use and handling of refrigerants in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.
