GS-13: To be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must have at least ONE year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as performing the duties described in at least two (2) of the following areas: (A) analyzing and managing a comprehensive program of support services in the areas of: facility and space management, records management, and/or mail and property management OR (B) managing a financial management program to include developing short and long-range budgets and exercising full authority for controlling and authorizing the expenditure of funds allocated for various budgets OR (C) managing a contracting and/or purchasing program to include assuring that activities are in compliance with applicable procurement regulations and procedures while providing guidance on a variety of contracting procedures. Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)-The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
