AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4. Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (NG) Title 5 and T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Title 5 employee’s must be eligible to convert to T32 Dual Status. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current and prior service military members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states’ Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of equipment and practices associated with the type of work to be done. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training performing a full variety of Air Transportation functions necessary to manage the day-to-day Air Transportation and small air terminal operations including but not limited to, airdrop and airdrop inspections, rigging responsibilities, wing deployment training, passenger and cargo manifesting, Joint Inspection, load planning, determining cargo/passenger eligibility, establishing and maintaining air terminal security, directly responsible for safe and efficient loading/offloading of all DOD-owned and controlled aircraft and ensuring In-transit Visibility. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 – 03/2017 or Feb 2017 – Mar – 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an AIR CARGO SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD1965000 and is part of the WY 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
