The Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Directorate – Training (ID-T) is responsible for the Mission Command and leadership of 17 US Army Garrison commands and Support Activities that deliver and integrate Base Support services on Army installations to enable Army readiness. ID-T is aligned with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Army War College and is physically located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, thereby, better enabling close collaboration with HQ TRADOC. Specialized experience required: At least one FULL year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal Government which includes experience managing the installation support services of a complex multi-mission military installation; providing program direction and strategies for installation support functions, operations and activities; and managing and evaluating the impact of operational factors, assessing fiscal soundness and taking appropriate action to ensure the operational success of installation programs and activities. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Planning and Evaluating Stakeholder Management Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
